Anyone who is a true hunter and outdoorsman can appreciate what I am about to say. There is something special about sitting alone in a remote outpost in the middle of nowhere and observing the surroundings without all the distractions that occur in daily life. You really get a sense of hightened awareness and get in tune with nature...you become keenly aware of your presence and the presence of every creature and critter that meets the eye. In sitting for countless hours for whitetails over the last 27 years I have come to love watching all the species of birds that nature has to offer I truly enjoy photographing them and trying to anticipate a great shot while they move from limb to limb. In all my world travels south Texas has as diverse species and number of birds as anywhere on the planet...get out and enjoy this wonderful pastime.
