Spring 2011

The 2010-2011 hunting season is beginning to wind down. We are in the midst of a very good hog and predator season and will be starting our Spring Turkey Hunts very soon. We are plowing our dove fields and will be getting ready to plant in early April. Judging by the numbers of birds we have been seeing on the ranch I expect the next Dove season to be a good one. Later in the spring we are planning on commercially planting 120 acres of peanuts with a late September early October harvest date which would make for a great time to hunt. We still have prime dates available and can accommodate up to 35 hunters at any one time. For those of you who have hunted with us in the past know we put on a great hunt.

As for our deer hunting we just wrapped up the best deer hunting we have ever had led by Randy Allen who shot two tremendous bucks scoring 216 and and 190 in the same day! Other great deer were shot by Lance Neff of Missouri with a 185 and Jim Demetriades of Beverly Hills with a 183. As our deer management program continues to expand we expect to continue to shot many more great deer. We are rapidly booking our deer hunts for this coming fall and I expect to be fully booked by the summer so do not wait too long to book your trip.
